Most people would agree that there is something terribly wrong with
shooting and smashing in the skulls of baby seals, but despite
international outrage, the Canadian government allows sealers to beat
and skin hundreds of thousands of these gentle animals every year. By
allowing the massacre of baby seals to continue, the Canadian
government dismisses the concerns of decent people all around the
world. As the country prepares to host the 2010 Winter Olympics,
Canada's shame will overshadow Canada's Games. Please
